I looked it up (along with a few other words), and I think my pronunciation should be satisfactory. :)

Both nicely read!
Thanks.
I've marked them PL OK, but I would suggest that these both could benefit from some moderate noise reduction to eliminate that background hum. But, optional.

rmd2001 wrote: November 13th, 2019, 3:21 pm Hi,
I've got my three sections:
Section 22:
https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/verses_22_belloc_128kb.mp3 (1:48)
Section 19:
https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/verses_19_belloc_128kb.mp3 (1:08)
Section 18:
https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/verses_18_belloc_128kb.mp3 (1:00)

I hope these are satisfactory. Thank you!
These are perfect --- except that the silence at the end of each of these is too long.
Please trim these so that it is only FIVE seconds.
Upload them again under the same file name, and post a note here with the new file lengths.

Lovely reading!

Thanks for the feedback. I have applied noise reduction to both files and am hopeful that the hum is less noticeable now:

Do you still need a DPL? If so, I'd like to claim if possible. :D

Well, I'm about half way on the PL for this volume, so I think it is best if I carry through with it for consistency.
There are also some special considerations for poetry, and we need to keep an eye - and ear - on some technical issues.

That said, however, I have several sections that I will be reading and will need someone to proof listen them for me.
So, if you are willing, I'd love to have you get a start by doing the PL for me on those.
There are also some open sections if you would like to read something.

Just let me know what you would like to do, and I'd be glad to get you started.
