Nil Problemo, Beth...
I am so impressed by the number of people who want to be involved with this! (Sweet!)
I guess it's really down to Peter and myself to sort this one out, so I apologiose for my
tardiness.

Oh, this is brilliant! It is very definitely PL OK, but so much more interesting than that! The hysterical laughter as he tells his story is just perfect! And the despair at the rhetorical question at the end "what have I gained?" - very dramatic!adrianstephens wrote: ↑October 15th, 2019, 10:02 pm Here's Victor Hatherley. https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/sherlockholmes_victor_hatherley_09_128kb.mp3
Ready for PL.
This project is full, but if you head over to the DR Scenes and Stories project there are some roles there which could use your dramatic talent! Also the new One Act Play project has just launched - there are only two plays in it so far, I think, but you might have a look there and see if anything takes your fancy. I hope to see you around the boards again soon!

Thank you for your kind words, Elizabby. I had a blast doing this, although I do wonder what the neighbors thought of hysterical sobbing coming from my shed. I'm definitely hanging around. See you soon.Elizabby wrote: ↑October 16th, 2019, 3:50 pm This project is full, but if you head over to the DR Scenes and Stories project there are some roles there which could use your dramatic talent! Hello Beth,
As promised, here is a slightly more convenient post from my laptop - about
my edit for 'A Scandal in Bohemia'!
I only encountered a couple of hiccups. Much to my embarrassment, the major fault was in my own recordings!
(I know that you have plok'ed this, but I noticed that I had missed out letters - and even entire words!)
If that is acceptable - no worries - but I would be happy to make any amendments - once I am rid of this head cold!
My other difficulty was with Irene Adler's maid - I couldn't find 'He's dead!' or 'Fire!'
I admit that I edited out the huge gaps between the lines - to make the file easier to work with...
But I'm pretty sure that I didn't delete any of her actual lines!
If I am mistaken, please let me know - it will only take moments to fix!

Found it! The corrected file appears to have been uploaded to the wrong folder by mistake, but here it is, and the crowd lines are at the start!plaidsicle wrote: ↑September 24th, 2019, 6:49 pm Irene's maid, updated:

Thanks Larry! I think that’s the last character for that story apart from Holmes and Watson!
