Wow I thought I did that. I cannot believe I forgot. So sorry. Will check if you did and if not I can.

Miss Stav,
I will PL section 4. I am about half way through but need to head out to a meeting.

I found sections 6, 14, and 15 but none of them are in the MW.

Anne,
Section 4 was posted in thread as 3. I pulled it from your folder but the link in the MW is that of section 3.

Great job on this very long section! I must admit I was not particularly found on the concept that women are the catalyst of the devil. :roll:

Run time: 28:50

Matthew
Great reading!

PL notes:
14:50 repeat of all that have been upon Earth.

17:40 repeat - what tribe or species soever in the world, and is indeed unpardonable.

27:10 Now this is all invention, or at least, a borrow’d thought from the old Poets, and the Fight of the Giants against Jupiter, so nobly design’d by Ovid, almost two thousand years ago;
This was read as fire which changes intent.

File needs to be in 128kbps. It is currently at 112kbps.

When you upload your revision please the file name section number. historyofthedevil_05_defoe_128kb.mp3.

Anne, This mishap overwrote Kevin's section 1.

Don't worry, Kevin. Nothing is gone. When a revision is posted the older one is still saved in the database. Anne will need to rename it is all. It's one of those behind the scenes things.

Oh, okay. For the best, I'm sure. I do have the recording, though. I looked. It was next to the twist ties, rubber bands, and tacks. And I found a library book that I thought I lost!

Lovely reading. One PL note for you.

16:17 missing text - All Mr. Milton’s Scheme of Satan’s future Conduct, and all the Scripture Expressions about the Devil and his numerous Attendants, and of his actings since that time, make it not reasonable to suggest that the Devils were confin’d to their eternal Prison, at their Expulsion out of Heaven; But that they were in a State of Liberty to act, tho’ limited in acting, of which I shall also speak in its place.

Note to Miss Stav: This section has not been placed in the MW.

Well done, Chad!
One small stumble/repeat to correct.

6:13 repeat - The Devil therefore most certainly has a Power and Liberty of moving about in this World, after some manner or another;

I did not place section 6 in the mw because I didn't want to place a section with the wrong file name. Perhaps I should think of a better way to mark the fact the name has to be changed. I know from experience people find it more confusing if two sections in the mw lead to the same link then anything else. I may as well place it there and write in the notes.
