Pet name for Paulette, perhaps? :p
Writing openly gay works would have been too scandalous for a lot of people, so there was (is) a style where the writer deliberately avoided pronouns until the very end in order to cover up the gay. It's a stretch, but a good one. x)

Hi,
This is my first recording..This one is for section 81.
Please let know how it went.
Thanks!

You did a nice job!
There are a few things that need to be corrected.
The first correction, is actually my fault! I forgot to change Chapter to Section in the template. So sorry about that!
@0:40 if you could change it from "Chapter" to "Section" 81, that would be great.
@0:46 after the title, this part should be cut out "L. M. Montgomery Illustrated by Arthur E. Jameson." I understand it can be confusing what to record and what not to in this case!
@3:59 There is a small repeat. "back...backbone"
@21:00 you included the outro that is only used for the last section. This part needs to be removed: "End of Uncollected Short Stories of L.M. Montgomery, by Lucy Maud Montgomery. "
There are also some thumps in the silence at the end. If you could try to make sure there are not any, that would be great!
And last, but not least, when you reupload, be sure to name the file as: uncollectedlmm_81_montgomery_128kb
It might look like a long list, but it really isn't bad. For the actual story, you only had that one small repeat, so that is great!

I have just a couple of questions about fixing this recording. You ask to have the intro completed but there is not enough space in the beginning of my recording to insert more into. I know how to cut something out but not add something to the beginning. Also, the Effects button has Amplify as an option but I don't see how to turn down the volume on something. Any help you have is appreciated. Sparky0506
