I just noticed that I put the wrong names for MC and DPL on the cover, sorry about that. Here the new version:

Dear Annise and other lovely Librivoxers,

I'm just letting you know that i uploaded the CD covers for "On the Yukon Trail"
and "Russian Realities and Problems".

Here is the URL: https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/WELLBLOSSOMWING.zip
I use capital letters for file names to make them easier to read.

I hope i've managed to make everything suitable. But please let me know if there are any problems.

Apologies again for the lateness.

Kind Regards,

wellblossomwing :-)

Covers caught and linked
nice covers , Just a couple of housekeeping things.
Using capitals for file endings can cause problems, but didn't in this case, when I uploaded them to Internet Archive they changed them to lower case :D
Your cover files were too large, the image is meant to be 300X300 pixels and was about 1200X 1200 - which is 16 times larger. This may seem petty but when you start displaying them like this https://archive.org/details/librivoxaudio?sort=-date it makes a big difference to the storage required and the time it takes to refresh the screen.
It will make some difference to the detail in the image but as no one sees it that size , it's probably better not to design it too much larger than display size.
I'm not sure what others use - I use a 800X800 starting point , the pdf seems to use about 600X 600 comfortably.

Everything else seemed fine and there is a nice variety in your images which is great. Thank you :D

I'm not sure who produced the lovely cover for my Beyond Good and Evil -- but there's a little typo on Nietzsche (an extra s ... Nietszsche). I'm pretty sure I've made every typo possible on his name during the project, so completely relate. :D
There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!

Hey, how did the cover pic get onto the project page? I like that. I want that on all of mine.
Please don't. We try to keep the forum as image free as possible, that's why we don't have avatatars. It increases the download time considerably and the loads on the servers. If you notice with our Archive pages, if Archive has an overload problem, all the images are not displayed.
And images make things less accessible to the visually challenged.

Anne

Sorry Michele - looks like I deleted your post by mistake  - I can't get it back
