Campfire Tales of Jackson Hole by G. Bryan Harry ( - 0).

This project is now complete. All audio files can be found on our catalog page here: https://librivox.org/campfire-tales-of-jackson-hole-by-g-bryan-harry/
Tales of the fur traders and mountain men who explored Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, and the Teton Mountain Range. ( David O)

  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/59274
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

For the second and all subsequent sections, you may optionally use the shortened form of this intro disclaimer:
    • "Chapter [number] of Campfire Tales of Jackson Hole by G. Bryan Harry. This LibriVox recording is in the Public Domain."
    • If you wish, say:
"Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"

If you need a DPL for this, count me in, unless you have someone lined up.

Larry,

I had not progressed that far. I am singing you up.

I haven't looked at the stories in depth yet, if they get long I may split them in multiple sections.

I am aiming for a story book not a reference book so I chose standard DPL.

PL OK, and we're off!

Two impressions of passing through Jackson Hole - expensive gas and the towering Tetons that take one's breath away! Truly impressive country. I'm looking forward to hearing the stories. :)

Larry,

I confused myself a bit by misnaming the first file for the Foreword as 01 instead 00; that file has been renamed.

Due to my confusion, Chapter 2 is ready for PL with Chapter 1 still to come. It is a good thing that each of these chapters can stand on its own.

Chapter 1 is ready for PL.

After looking at the length of Chapter 3, I have split it into 2 parts and added a section to the MW.
