Recorded in Audacity 2.3.1 for Mac using a Plantronics RIG 505 headset.

I know there is a brief pause where I stumbled over the word "fable" (I had practiced reading it but somehow it still looked like "table" when I came to it during the recording...)

Hi Amy and welcome aboard
Nice reading - clear voice and good phrasing and intonation.
There are a couple of issues:
1. Your volume is too low, not within the band required by Librivox. Plenty of info in the wiki to help you improve that.
2. You've used a capital letter (A) in your filename, but Librivox requires that all filenames use lower case only.

As an improvement, I noticed a couple of very audible 'mouth clicks' on your recording, which will almost certainly be louder and more intrusive once you amplify. You may need to watch out for these, or edit them out.
You'll need to fix items 1 and 2 above as a minimum, and upload your test again in this same thread. But good stuff (and yes, I heard the stumble and if proof listening would ask for correction, but unnecessary here, esp. as you already noted it).

You can check your own volume with Checker https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker
And increase it . ReplayGain is an Audacity plug in which helps you do that https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Measuring_Volume_within_Audacity

Hi Amy
Fine now in terms of volume and filename. An admin will come along and mark your test OK.

But do note: you must leave a good 5 secs of silence at the end of any reading (Librivox requirement).
And if I were PL'ing this for a book, I would probably ask you to remove the loud mouth click at the beginning of the file (if you select what should be silence at the beginning of the file, and then do Noise Reduction using that as a sample, it will remove similar sounds).
Have fun reading and welcome again! You read very nicely.
