Well done. There is just one edit that needs to be made though. At about :58-:59 You've left out a short phrase.Starting with The three of us had been carried along in it with no sense of time; my sister, the ancient Major Carrington and I. You left out the ancient Major Carrignton and I. I think we need to hear that to know who is speaking in the following paragraph. It actually sounds like maybe it was there and got edited out?
Anyway, I really enjoyed the story and your reading of it.
