Beth, PinkLady (page 2 of this forum) has already put in a claim for Mrs Watson.

leanneyauyau wrote: September 12th, 2019, 10:03 pm Would love to play any number of these characters depending on how many I'm allowed to claim:
Miss Alice Turner
Miss Julia Stoner
Elise Stark
Lady St Simon
Maggie Ryder
Miss Stoper
:9:
Thanks Leanne, I might give you all of these except Lady St Simon - she’s supposed to be an American, so I might leave her for an actual American if that’s OK.

Edit: and I assume you’re happy to do a German accent for Elise Stark?
I can do an (allegedly convincing???) American accent and have done so in several previous LV recordings, but I understand :D best to leave it to a native.
As for a German accent, whoops, I actually can't do that. I can play Lady St Simon but not Elise Stark.

Ok, I’ll take you out as Elise Stark.

Sorry, someone else (American) has claimed Lady St Simon.

You can have Miss Mary Sutherland instead if you like - that’s the main female part in Story 3. I was going to read that myself, but my voice is playing up again and I don’t think I can read so much at once.

May I claim Elise Stark too?

Only if you can do a heavy German accent - this character is supposed to only speak broken English, and she's the sister of the German-speaking Colonel. The role has become available again because of the accent requirement.

Otherwise, I have Mrs Rucastle in the last story still available? And Irene's maid in the first story too.

Thanks Nemo, both of these are PL OK!

If you're interested in any other bit parts, I've got male roles open still in most stories, you can have one in each story if you like!

German accent is no problem, that's why I claimed it ;)

Great! I'll put you in! (And the other two roles are open as well, if you want them...)

Elizabby - huge thanks once again - I feel much happier
knowing that you are in charge! :D

Andrew

PS: As it happens, I had already started 'The Five Orange Pips' as a solo
read before this project was discussed. I only did Holmes and Watson,
but I shall have a listen to Dr. Watson again - see if it's worth posting.

Now to get stuck into the fun stuff!
I have absolutely nothing in this world but time - so I believe I should invest it wisely...

oooh, this is an exciting project which I must join in on.

may I claim a few (well okay... a whole bunch) of the smaller-ish roles?
Irene's maid
the Landlord,
the Coroner,
Police Constable Cook,
Door constable,
Cab driver,
Stationmaster,
and Pageboy,
please?
