Hi Barbara,

Section 27 is up:

I must admit, I love Macaulay like a brother. I'm reading Volume Two of his nephew's biography of him.

My best,

Pam

Are you reading it for Librivox? Let me know when it's complete. Section 27 is PL OK.

Best,

Barbara

I'm guessing that Paris is shortly going to be worth a mass. I'm going to give up following the text as I listen - you never make a mistake!

Thank you, Barbara!
And that's fine by me! Word perfect not necessary.

As for the Macaulay, I'm just reading it, but not for Librivox. It's a two volume Life and Letters biography by Sir George Otto Trevelyan. Macaulay's sister married George's father when she and her brother went out to India in 1835.

Again thanks!

Yes, a little theological discussion was nice for a change.

Thanks!

Another PL OK!

I'm reading "Europe: a natural history" by Tim Flannery and last night picked up some fascinating factlets (supplemented by the internet) about the geology of the Paris and the effect of the same on the city's history - e.g. why the Left Bank was developed first, why the later movement to the Right Bank and why Montmartre?

Best,

Barbara
