Thanks, Kevin! :) This is certainly a timely contribution; I hope you're not under the threat of Dorian yourself!

KevinS wrote: August 31st, 2019, 2:25 pm This should do it for the first submission:

https://books.google.com/books?id=kVBYAAAAMAAJ&dq

The second reading is here:

https://books.google.com/books?id=gd0MAQAAIAAJ&pg

I'll let the reader fish around for them, but the articles are in these free e-books from Google.
Thanks for these, Kevin! :) There is a copy of Patriotism and Government in the second book you cite! :) as well as a lot of other interesting stuff... for future SNF reads...

The problem with the book you mention as a possible for "On Anarchy" (the first book you mention: https://books.google.com/books?id=kVBYAAAAMAAJ&dq) is that this is the edition supplied by the Univ. of Michigan Library, and the google scan is missing 2 pages from the essay "On Anarchy " (26 and 27, one double-page scan). You'd think there must be somebody on LibriVox working at or attending the U. of Mich. who could photocopy those pages for Mitteldorf. It's been a solution in the past.
Oh, I see! I thought 24 and 25 were missing for some reason and did not look forward. Apologies!

Patriotism and Government was a nice idea - Christian anarchism.

Wikipedia followed the original very well

A few things to note though: very small and might not all have to be corrected.

4:23 The brotherly union of the peoples? You read of all peoples

6:48 from lower ideas to higher ones – you read ideals - or I heard ideals -

22:55 I refer to the Hague Conference – you read convention -- he used conference and then later convention – correct if you want

39:20 end quote - no quote at 33:38 – add one or delete one

39:33 quote needed 42:15 you said end of German quote - or you can leave it :D

43:49 And, as is natural to people of our time – you read and, though it is normal in our times -

Thanks Kevin. That was a nice sermon by a fifteen year old Hamilton.

only one little error noted.

2:59 In a word, misery in all its most hideous shapes spread - you read misery is all it

I hate making these missteps as my edits never sound quite right.

I knew Hamilton would be young, but 15?!

Thanks for this, Mike! :D I see that the publication has been incorporated into an educator's "primary source set" in Iowa. Once your recording is available on LibriVox, you might want to let them know it's available as an audio. https://iowaculture.gov/history/education/educator-resources/primary-source-sets/reconstruction-and-its-impact/what-colored#

To Mitteldorf and Soupy,

I am taking the liberty of posting the PM I received from Mitteldorf here, so Soupy can do the spot PL.
mitteldorf wrote:September 14th, 2019, 7:03 am I have re-uploaded Patriotism and Government under the same file name,

All corrections noted by Soupy have been made, except I left "convention" as it was.
I appreciate the attention to detail, which supports Librivox's reputation for high quality.

Saw a notation of this guy in the Wikipedia "on this date" for tomorrow, the date of his first proclamation as emperor, so I had to look him up. :) He's on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emperor_Norton

Title: Norton I: Emperor of the United States and Protector of Mexico
Author: Robert Ernest Cowan (1862-1942). "Robert Ernest Cowan (2 Jul 1862 - 29 May 1942) was an American historian, biographer, and librarian. He wrote mostly about the history of the state of California."

Source: Use this: https://archive.org/details/norton1emperor but there's a nice html rendering here: https://web.archive.org/web/20180924161446/http://www.emperornorton.net/NortonI-Cowan.html
Length: 29:05
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart
Humor: My Lady Nicotine
