Great! I'll move this to Readers Wanted.

You will want to put a notation of the division for Memoir, part 1 and Memoir, part 2. Otherwise the reader has to guess where to end and start. :)

Elijah - the dedication is an image in the html file.
School fiction: David Blaize
Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart
Humor: My Lady Nicotine

May we read the short poetry disclaimer for these instead of the long disclaimer as listed in the instructions?

At the beginning of the recording, read the abbreviated "LibriVox disclaimer":
"[Poem title], by Edgar Allan Poe, read for LibriVox.org" by [your name] or some variation on that, adding date, location, your personal URL, etc., if you wish.
• Then read the poem.
• At the end, say: "End of poem. This recording is in the public domain." and leave five seconds of silence.

May I also have 54,57,62?
I'll be recording some of these tomorrow.

And, I'm in favor of the short poetry disclaimer, saving the full disclaimer for the longer sections.

Also, I'd love to say the pieces that have characters read as parts and then put together rather than one person trying to read all the parts. It would require some major changes to the MW, but it could be done. And, I'd be willing to help out with the editing if you decide to go that route.

I will assign them to you shortly.
I thought about reading those poems as group reading but didn't know how to do it so I'll be happy for an explanation :D

bdanzige wrote: August 28th, 2019, 2:49 pm Well, I'll advise you to take the sections one or two at a time so you'll be able to finish it in a short time. After you're done you can claim more sections. :)
Also, I really wanted to do "The Raven" so I'll be really happy if you could take another saction instead.
Let me know what to do.🙃
Can I claim sections 1 & 2, and also the Preface if I promise to make it quick? I hope to claim more than these, but I really would like the intro's of the project.

If you decide to split this up into separate roles, I'd love to join Larry and Foon as well in this ... I'll let Larry claim his role 1st, and then claim one as well.

We will probably do it as a group and you will get the roles you would like but it will probably take some time as I'm trying tofigure out (with Larry's help  ) how to do it.
