Hello LV Team,
After several attempts at recording the chapters I requested I find I am not suited for the material. I find it too challenging to read and therefore, I need to release my chapters; 7,11 &12.
I apologize but I don't want to hold on to these until the last minute knowing I can't give these chapters the reading it requires.
Warm Regards,
Lola J

That’s fine. Not all works suit us all, and, as you say, better to relinquish them now before they become a thorn in your sidePinklady77 wrote: ↑August 13th, 2019, 7:32 am Hello LV Team,

Hi,Aisha17 wrote: ↑July 27th, 2019, 3:23 am Hi,
I would like to volunteer for Chapter 52 "The Scarfe"
I am a beginner so this would be my first reading though I have read all the instructions for beginners and have submitted my "1 Minute Test" under the "Listerners and Editors wanted" section. If you like you can listen to it first as I will provide the link for you here as well.

Plz feel free to provide your valuable feedback so that I can start my reading.
I have completed reading and editing my chapter 52 The Scarfe :

Duration:14min 03sec
Since it was my first reading here at librivox, it may be not up to the standards required. I did feel a lot of difficulties while editing it so in case it needs more of it then plz you may ask someone who is more experienced here to do the changes coz I tried a lot for it to be smooth and perfect.

Ch 52 PL notes
There is quite a bit of background noise. If you are using Audacity, noise removal is easy. Here is a video made by one of our admins: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFSg9o37HMw
It is a good idea of getting into the habit of using this on all recordings
~10:50 Repeated phrase "having leaped from his horse"
The more practice you get, the smoother your reading will be, but this certainly passes on all except the two above issues There is no need to worry about re-recording.

I have Ch11 and 12 recorded, and am working on editing.
Should some quiet time come my way, may I reserve ch 17, 18, and 19, please?
Thanks,
Keith
