Yes, that does fall to you to do. You can find quite a bit of info on wiki, but Larry (Silverquill) is also willing to help you through if you want assistance.

Oh, my. Did you not do any editing of your recording before you submit it?
This is basic to the process, and editing is a big part of it -- unless you always read perfectly. Maybe you did on this short section.

I suggest that you read the Newbie Guide to Recording (link is in Point 2 if the initial post of this and every project thread). There is a short section on editing, with links to a longer article and some very helpful video tutorials.

For this recording you will need to do three things.

1). Cut the word "chapter" as noted above. In Audacity, just highlight it, and cut or delete.
There is also a loud click at 0:22 that you should cut as well.
2). You will need to record a new outro "End of Chapter 2" Record it in a new file, then copy and paste it over what you already have. Then be sure there are 5 seconds of silence after that.

3). Then you need to increase the volume. Highlight the entire track, go to the Effect drop-down menu and select Amplify. Set it to 4 and that will bring it close to our target of 89 dB. Acceptable range is 86-91 dB.

Then, upload the file again under the same name and post the link and new file length here so we can check it again.
