Good to hear you again, Bill. :)
The only comment I have is that there is some sort of bass rumble underneath your voice. It is not there in the spaces, just when you speak, so I'm not sure what it is. I'll still mark it PL OK, but you might take a close listen to it with your headphones and see if you hear it too.

Thanks, Bill. :)

Sounds like some kind of noise cleaning artefact to me. Not sure what to do about it though - my usual solution is just to record in a quiet area and use less noise cleaning. I can’t record when it’s raining because of the noise on the roof!

I`ll do 15. Any story that starts with a canoe can't be all bad....

How did it get so late so soon?
It’s night before it’s afternoon.
December is here before it’s June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.

Thanks, this is in the MW. I have it as 15:15 long, so I hope that’s the expected file length!

Also, what name do you want in the catalogue?

Finished!

And I think I uploaded it correctly this time. So sorry for the delay. I am fumbling through the tech of procedures for uploading. Fingers crossed I did this all correctly as it is my first time at this. Thanks.

Before I listen to this, two important technical issues:

1. This recording is in stereo, and all LV recordings must be in mono
2. The volume is far too low at only 83.9 dB. The LV target is 89 dB with an acceptable range of 86-92 dB.

Also, if you could add one more second of silence at the end to bring it to a total of five, that would be good.

ETA: Thought I should go ahead and listen to this in case there were other issues to correct.

There is one correction to make -- an easy cut

10:40 Repeat: At first we talk all the chances . . . .

Optional: A second or two pause at the end before saying, "End of Chapter 8"

If you need any help converting the file from stereo to mono or amplification, just let us know.

Beautiful reading! You certainly have created a mood for this story :D

Just a couple of notes that need attention from the country rat:

1 15:15 Repeat: He took off his jacket and spread it on the ground
15:31 Repeat: This is as much as we can carry, he said --- This is as much as we can carry, said he
20:20 Repeat: "But Evans was silent and motionless now . . . . .

2 Your recording comes right in at the bottom of our range at 86.0 dB, so you might want to amplify it up closer to the target of 89 dB.

Above all, beware the prickly thorns.

Thanks Larry! That’s not too many PL notes for a couple of first ever recordings, so well done Eric and Saint!
