just for confirmation: Section 9 is ready for Spot PL, but judging by the discrepancy in the file length, the sections you re-recorded from scratch are 5 and 7, is that correct ? The DPL has to know, because in that case she needs to relisten to the whole section again. Therefore we always advice to rather spot-correct only the errors, it's less time-consuming for all involved.

Do you know how to amplify(increase) volume using Audacity? You don't have to re record the sections just for volume. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ps679TtJfyM

Correct, section 9 is ready...I successfully amplified in Audacity to an acceptable volume.

Several attempts to amplify sections 5 and 7 were unsuccessful, they were continually below 86. I felt I had no choice but to re-record and I do apologize for not explaining this in more detail.

maybe you had some higher spikes, where the volume was too loud in some parts. This will prevent the amplification because those spikes would get clipped, which might distort the sound.

What you could do is localize the spikes and decrease the volume there manually, by highlighting only the spike. After all those loud words are decreased, the uniform amplification would have worked.

If you encounter this problem again, please ask first before re-recording. Someone is always able to help there

and you don't have to re-record except for very rare occasions.

Just careful with some filenames...the last two have typos

But don't reupload yet, if they are PL ok, then I can change the names in my folder without trouble.
