I shouldn't, but I will. (I waited a minute before deciding and that's what I call, around here, restraint and prudence.)silverquill wrote: ↑August 11th, 2019, 5:19 pm Thanks for the PL help, Kevin

Thank you for your restraint and prudence, Kevin!
This seems to be going slowly for a poetry project, but now I can relax, get my own sections in and take more if needed. I'll PL any more of yours, of course.

While I do appreciate your enthusiasm, Stephen, there are certain guidelines to follow here.
First, we do request that new readers first complete a simple one-minute test recording before volunteering in an actual project. Please see Point 2 in the initial message of this thread and follow the link to the Newbie Guide to Recording. There is a lot of useful information there, including instructions for completing that one-minute trial recording. It is mainly to check out your recording setup and technical issues of which there are several in what you have submitted.
Once you have your test approved, repost your claim here.
It is also our etiquette to wait until a claim has been acknowledged and assigned before uploading a recording.
You will have to make some changes to this anyway, because the volume is way too low and the silence at the end is too long.
I hope you will return with this completed so we can enjoy your reading.
Let me know if you have any questions about this.
