Fair trading, would you have time to PL my upcoming contribution, Don Rodriguez 6th Chronicle? 36:00
There will be no rush on that, though it is quite chivalric and a charming love story I think you will enjoy.
I'd love to PL. Anytime, you know.

Tremendous. Probably the best I've heard you do. Really a mastery of discretion, timing, and effect. I hope that one day you'll do the whole collection of tales. PL OK!

Thank you, Kevin. You are good for the ego! Dunsany is a lot of fun to read, very dramatic and expressive and often ridiculous, which I like. I am planning to record another Dunsany book, The King of Elfland's Daughter, which comes PD on January 1st.

As to Don Rodriguez, Chronicles of Shadow Valley, LV has a wonderful recording of the whole book, read by Ed Humpal, who really does a tremendous job!!!!

Hello,
I hope you are well!
Is it okay to include "love poetry" in this collection?
I have attempt a recording for this collection, as follows:
Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861)
Title: Sonnets from the Portuguese
URL to text: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/2002/2002-h/2002-h.htm
Audio recording ready for PLing: https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/lovestories1_X_browning_cjph_128kb.mp3 Time: 01:13.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Kind regards,
Chad

PL Notes Sonnet 10
:26 worthy of acceptation, you say appreciation

However, after PLing it, Chad, I am going to recommend you submit this poem over to the Short Poetry Collection, as it isn't really a story.
Here's the link viewtopic.php?f=28&t=76036
There is ALWAYS a poetry collection brewing at LV, anytime you feel the yen to record one. :D
And I look forward to getting a story from you soon.

Darn, you've given me an idea for a poetic love story I'd like to read, except I've already done my 3 for this collection. :(

Maybe another time, cause I have reached the limit for that collection :(
Thanks for your feedback on this poem anyway!

Quintessential Lawrence!!!!! Thanks for this contribution. Dr. Strange Love, eh? Now, as to my notes:

7:15 with his knees stuck out, you say struck
15:44 Why should she answer to anybody? You added to, which I recommend you delete to, for the story only says "she doesn't talk to anybody."
16:29 saddened dark green fields, you say satin
31:49 And something stubborn in him could not give away, stubborn is missing.
39:42 to rub himself down and dress, down is missing
40:02 dress of black voile, you say foil. Dressed in foil?

Beginning and end, the piece seems to say "The Horse Stealer's Daughter". I have a forum post called "word slurs" with a collection of my own slurs, and a few people have added more in. I hope you will consider adding this one here:
viewtopic.php?f=24&t=69510&p=1484222&hilit=word+slurs#p1484222

And fixing it here!
Time to do this! Sorry it's taken so long!

I'll be right back.

I wish it did, but there is a mystery ….. the times don't match up in these 2 places, leading me to believe you might have futzed with the tempo here and there, and/or accidently cut out some phrases.

31:49 I found at 32:00, a +11 second difference, was something added, or tempo slowed down?
39:42 I found at 39:08, a -34 second difference. Was something cut out?
but 40:02 is in about right place and the overall file length is right.
Very mysterious. I suppose I could PL this from scratch if you can't explain these discrepancies.

Oh, I don't want you to have to do the whole thing. I will investigate.
