Hi,
My name is Sierra N. I'm new to librivox and this is my first recording for the site.
Here is my version of A Photograph (0:57): https://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/photograph_mcneill_sn_128kb.mp3
Please let me know if there is anything that I need to correct or if there is anything that I can do to improve it.
Thank you,
Sierra

I'm sorry I missed some of the offerings recently. You had some good choices!

Welcome to LibriVox Sierra, good first reading, the only comment is that the volume is a bit low at 84.8 dB
You should aim for your wave forms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this:
You can check your volume using our Checker program - see info at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker You will find the volume in decibels on the Information tab. For your information, we look for around 89 dB (87-91 is OK)
*Please let me know under what name would you like to appear in the LV catalog and if you have one, we can put your personal URL link on your catalog page too.
You can view your brand new LV Catalog page by clicking your forum name in the Magic Window.

Thank you Graham and Erin.
Erin, I guessed you were on a summer sabbatical.

Thank you much for the feedback. I uploaded a new file: https://librivox.org/uploads/aradlaw/photograph_mcneill_sn_128kb.mp3 . I ran it through the Checker app and it says it passed. The volume is at 90 dB.
For the LV catalog I'd like to use the name: SierraN
Thank you again for the help.
Sincerely,
Sierra

This one's cute, but also a little creepy. Why don't we have portraits painted of us any more?
