"it has very few naughty words in it" - "were you looking for them ?" priceless !

I like your primness here, Availle  I wish Mrs Delaney had more to say. Absolutely PL ok. Although a bit on the low side, I'll make a note to Todd to amplify a bit.

Thank you !

What does this sound like? I can do whatever you desire! Too much space? Too bland? Jim

an absolutely wonderful job you did here, Jim. Dr Johnson does get a life here. You switch between moods accurately, jovial, snarky, aloof, and especially very charming when you say "My dear Peg" ! :9: loved the whole performance. I know this is your first big main role in a play and you can be totally at ease, you're doing great.

As to the spaces in between, the only important thing is that it must be enough for Todd to fiddle with, so we recommend 2-3 seconds. So yes, some of your spaces were a bit very long, but that's not a problem and you need not change anything here. But 2 seconds is enough for the next acts, if you want to keep the file shorter ;)

Just watch out for the stage directions that are inside you speeches. Here you also have to leave enough space. You had that here in a few spots where Johnson starts talking to another person. The narrator has to say "to Boswell" for example, and there you only left about 0.5 second. This happened in 3 or 4 spots. It's ok, no need to change it this time, that's why I didn't note down the time stamps. The space is enough for Todd to get by without trouble. Just something to remember in the next acts.

There is however one textual error that needs correcting because it changes the meaning:

> at 2:04: (p. 9) "then, sir, this is the proportion" - you say "proposition", but "proportion" makes more sense here in his comparison

The rest is word perfect. An absolutely great start into your role. Looking forward to the next parts. :9: Probably only tomorrow though, it is getting a bit late here.

Thank you so much ! :)
