I saw that all recordings are pretty short and I wonder if one of Sherlock Holmes's stories would fit?

The recordings need to be less than about 15 minutes. Sherlock Holmes stories tend to be a lot longer than that (closer to an hour).

That's why I asked. Thanks!

Lynn, I just tried to listen to my recording of section 3, the Baron Munchausen story, and I got this error:
"The requested URL /uploads/lynnet/cb021_lionandcrocodile_wj_128kb.mp3 was not found on this server."
Other entries in the MW played OK. So it's something with the link. What could I have done wrong??

It wasn't you, it was me; and it's fixed now. I changed the file name (to allow for the possibility of further Baron Munchausen stories), but when I changed the file name on the server, I mis-typed and added an extra letter.

Have you put both poems in the same file? If they are by different poets, they will need to be separate files and each poet credited separately for the catalog.

Hi! Thanks for getting back to me.
Yes, originally I did, but now I have changed this.
Below is my audio recording for the poem titled My Shadow by Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894):

Hello again,
I was browsing and thought that the following poem would be appropriate to put in this collection:
Author: Lucy A. Yendes
Title of poem: Dear old grandmother
https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/cb021_dearoldgrandmother_cjph_128kb.mp3 Time: 01:56
URL to text: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/54384/54384-h/54384-h.htm#f5.1
Please let me know what you think.

Hello again!
Here is another story:
Author: Unknown
Title: Kitty's picnic
URL to text: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/43999/43999-h/43999-h.html#kitty-s-picnic
Audio recording ready for PLing: https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/cb021_kittyspicnic_cjph_128kb.mp3 Time: 02:58
This is another work with unknown authors, so I am unable to know whether the copyright status of this work is okay, but I assume it is fine :D

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Kind regards,
Chad

If you look at the Bibrec (right tab on the Project Gutenberg title page), it will tell you if it is PD in the US. Most PG works are. As it is listed as by anonymous, we have no way of knowing when the author died, which, of course, is important for those of you in Europe (or elsewhere). It is up to you whether to risk the legal ramifications. If we find later that the author wrote the story at age 5 and lived to be 97, I will have to take it down. In some countries, falling foul of copyright law is automatic imprisonment, no questions asked (I think it is Germany... certainly somewhere in Europe).
