Hello from Kansas City (thanks to a broken ankle)

I'm an amateur fossil collector from the Kansas City area, and on a recent hunt I managed to break my ankle. Faced with some long hours with my foot up during the weeks after surgery, I decided to breath life into a long-standing desire of giving to LibriVox a small return. My wife, children, and grandchildren (20 of them), and I have listened to thousands of hours produced by LibriVox volunteers. Now my hope is to contribute some reading myself. Plodmore is my user name, but for those who keep track of such things, you can call me Russ. I look forward to getting to know some of you.

Nope, no human push. Thanks for the welcome. I've already gotten started: one-minute test, and signed up for a reading. :)
