PL for Section 73:
22:40 Repeat of "We always had [a good breakfast]" p416 Col 1 in printed speech
(34:08 Missing "not even at the present winter" p417 bottom Col 2 - could be left as is)

Needs a bit of noise cleaning throughout of 'mouth clicks'. A couple of louder ones at
9:28 "Sometimes …" p414 Col 1 start of para 3;
13:19 "picking [up the skins of gooseberries]" p414 Col 2

Thanks, Gill, I've made the two edits. I couldn't hear or see the clicks, so simply applied another 6dB of noise cleaning. I think I'll have to leave any clicks as they are.

Section 74 uploaded.

From "Meeting of Thieves" PDF 465-470 / text 418-423

I've inserted "spoke" a few times, replacing ":-", to make it clear what's going on: " A voice:- If they shut up the lodging houses, where are we to go? ... Mr Mayhew:- Are you not all tired of the lives you lead?"

Total so far, approx. 45:08:35

Section 75 will start at "Of the country lodging houses", col 1, p 423

I'm going to be away for a while, and won't be able to respond to messages for about a week from Tuesday.

PL for Section 74:

15: 37 You pronounce “tear up” as tears of crying rather than tear as "rip" as you have pronounced it elsewhere p 420 Col 2 23 lines from bottom

17: 08 "(mouth)" unclear (missing the th sound) p421 Col 1 after “gob” line 7

(Would benefit from a round of general noise cleaning, but especially 17-19s - loudish mouth smacks.)

I wonder how much we've really moved on in rehabilitating criminals who really commit their crimes to survive.

Thanks, Gill; I've edited and re-uploaded section 74. I couldn't do much about the noises in the first minute, though, as the sonogram profile of the silences looks fairly clean, even in the logarithmic display. I've manually deamplified a few spots.

PL for Section 75

Just a loud click sound at 17:05 “if he be a regular customer” p425 Col 2 26 lines from bottom

(There's also a bit of background noise at 10:51 between “with me” and “Well, one old mollesher” p424 Col 2 17 lines from bottom, but it's okay.)

Sorry for taking a few days to get to this one. I'm off for a few weeks from Thursday and not sure how much internet access I will have.

Thanks, Gill; I'm sorry this has slowed down. I'm doing a little paid work at the moment. I should be back within the next week or so.

Again, my apologies; I've become entangled in a DR of Sherlock Holmes stories. I should be back here before Christmas.
