Greetings Librivox! I've been meaning to join the fun for years, and finally have a microphone, so here goes!

All the best,
Elise

Welcome to LibriVox ELSIE! It is so nice of you to volunteer. At first some things may seem a bit confusing. Be patient; everything will clear up eventually. I've made a little video to welcome people and share a few things that I think are nice to know about us at the start of your adventure. Note, these are just my feelings. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here and want VERY much for you to succeed. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs

Thanks! Yes, it's a bit of a mouthful/mindful to get through all the specs, but I think I got it right . . . I'm waiting for a response on my test submission! Looking forward to getting going on reading something. Mind you, we're in the fourth day of a heat wave here in Montreal and nobody is doing much of anything, if we can help it!
