Chapter 18,

19 min. 3 sec.

Looks like someone's going to require a new place of employment.

Next try on chapter 18:

And new chapter, in which I think there is a major metaphor coming into fruition. Ambrose North likely became blind from already being so darned blind to his own wife's infidelity. Now that he's been surgically healed he is still blind to it, and the only way he can be relieved is to just up and croak. Initially, I was irritated to high heaven at the results of this chapter, but now that I've thought it over, yeh. He's blind beyond eyesight. Might as well "give up the ghost". The rest may suffer less if he does.

Here is chapter 20 in 17 minutes and 19 seconds.

Hard time editing since, as I did, I heard Miriam's darkest components, but Barbara makes up for it. (((wipes brow)))

19:02 for chapter 23 ready for PL

https://librivox.org/uploads/craigdav1/flowerofthedusk_23_reed_128kb.mp3

Roger has some time to himself and also to find out a bit more about his father in this found tract of soliloquy. Fascinating.

Summary is up! (Funny thing is I couldn't seem to get it started until I used a pen and paper. ^_^)

Now to the final chapter!
