msfry wrote: July 25th, 2019, 9:41 amSonia, it looks like you changed the section numbers to single digit in the file naming. I presume that is okay because there are less than 10 sections? Let me know and I'll change all my saved file names to comply.
ah yes, since it's under 10 sections, one-digit is fine. But if you have named them all with two digits, that's ok too. No need to change. It's just a convention, not a real must.

No problem with one or two digits. :) I'm easy there.

Actually, 1 digit will help me distinguish between my fine tuned ready to go files and the working ones, so I'll leave it at 1 digit. Thanks.

Also, please note I have numbers in my titles too. That is intentional, so the sections show up as numbered on the iPhone screen (Podcast ap and others), which do not display section numbers. I'm not sure what android and mp3 player screens display.

oh.... well I must admit I am leaving on holidays now on Sunday, so unless you would have finished before then, the cataloguing would have to wait another week until I'm back. Hope that's ok with you. I didn't consider that it would go so fast in here.

Sonia
We'll be a week or two for sure. Go enjoy your holiday!

I don't think that the numbers will pose a problem in cataloguing, not that I'm aware of at least. So if you want to have them, then that's fine.

I have used them on all my projects for the last few years. They don't cause a problem so long as the convention of 0-9, or 01-99, or 001-100 is observed. Both Anne and Tricia helped me work this out. :D

I will send you a PM that explains it with screen shots.

You're off to a great start: Section 01 is PL OK.

The syntax is a little gnarly, but you make the sense of his statements come through.

Gnarly syntax, indeed. I'm wrestling it down as best I can. :D

As DPL, you have access to the MW to mark the status of each file. Please mark this one PL OK.

Part 2 might come along shortly.

Section 2: PL NOTES

7:09 "You say to yourselves sometimes, "But to assert..."
"Sometimes" is omitted in the audio.

There are areas of the audio whose tempo is VERY rushed.
No, I didn't take note of the timestamps because it's a marginal call.
His prose style can become ponderous if taken at too slow a tempo; so I'm guessing you up-tempo'd those sections on purpose.

I'm eager to hear the next section which deals with "Loans".

Section 3 is uploaded. What is a loan? What is capital?
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/capitalandinterest_3_bastiat_128kb.mp3 7:47

I added the missing word in on 2. I'll check out the tempo issues later.

I have not been naming my files correctly, using the old working file names on my computer. OOPS!. This has been corrected for 1, 2, and 3, so the MW now has the corrected file names.
