What irony, here I am praising the translation but I neglected to give the translator their due in the beginning of the recording. I'll do my best to record that bit/edit and reupload. Cheers!
Here is the edit with the translator included:

And here is the next section:

1:02

This last one I noticed there were minor rustling sounds throughout that I have no idea if they can be edited out- anyone have feedback on that? I tried rerecording and it had even more rustling...I don't know what on Earth is causing it- I'm staying as still as I possibly can and nothing seems to be moving. :hmm:

Cheers :D
These don't seem to have made it to the MW, so I took the liberty of adding them and listening.

Both are nicely read!

174 is PL OK
178 is too low in volume, coming in at only 84.9 dB. Our target is 89 dB, with an acceptable range of 86-92 dB.

As to the sound you hear in 178 -- I hear them too and I think they are what we call "mike bumps." Slightly bumping the microphone or something close to gives this kind of sound. I don't know what your set up is, but you might see if this is a possibility. These are slight, so I don't think you need to do them over.

Thanks for your good reading. :)

Kevin, you seemed to have missed my submissions here: viewtopic.php?p=1611595#p1611595
at least they don't appear in the MW yet. :)

Hi Kevin--I'm glad that this project came together. I believe that poetry is good for the soul. May I please claim Section 45 - The Chariots Go Forth to War by Tu Fu--? Thanks!
Kind regards,
Lucretia

Yes, of course. I would feel more comfortable were you to complete the one-minute test more formally, but these are shorter recordings. I just don't want you to have to re-do things if the settings are off.

I'll mark you for 37, 43, and 44. Thank you!
