PL Notes Section 40
7:57 cause he's a nice, perty man, sounds like "he's an ass"
13:59 one of the fust-est old Virginie families, you say fussiest

All else is good.

Thank you Greg. Section 17 is PL OK. We learn a lot more about John Gordon and his wife, and Stowe's comments on the "white trash" situation are illuminating.

Section 30 is uploaded, Chapter 29 The Troubadour

A light chapter, peering into the pleasant side of plantation life, with nevertheless a few astute Stowe observations.

Section 50, Chapter 49, is PL OK. Thanks. Looking forward to seeing
Section 49, Chapter 48, Lynch Law. You may safely overwrite the old 49 now.

Certainly. Going to have a lie down for a bit, due to the heat, but I'll be back tonight.

No rush at all. Take care. Are you in Ethiopia? Death Valley? A/C broke? You got me curious. :hmm:
