PL Notes for section 11 (Wong Kim Ark, part 1):

2:26 Long pause

3:17 "upon the sole ground" I hear "under the sole ground"

23:20 "Inglis v. Sailors'..." I hear "English v. Sailors'..."

24:31 "An act to enable" I hear "..act to establish"

28:20 "acquired by birth" I hear "...in birth"

29:33 Need "end quote" before "end of section 11"

Great job!

The footnoting and quotation marks and the like are devilish in this passage. I suggest that you edit for some kind of consistency and commonsense.

You read really well, great pace, and very clear. I feel like I should mention again that because we are going for word perfect reading, I'm being picky about small word shifts that I ordinarily would ignore because they don't really change the meaning of the sentence. Also, while it looks like a long list, most of the changes are one of two things:

--inserting "quote" before and "end of quote" after all quoted passages

--"law of Anne" needs to be "law of 8 Anne" --my understanding is that the number specifies the year of the monarch's reign under which the law was made, same as we say "such-and-such law of 1890" -- if we just call it "such-and-such law" it obscures whether it's meant to indicate the law of 1890 or 1895 with the same title. There's no way to know if another copyright law was passed during Anne's reign, so just in case, I think it's important to include the numerical designation to show the full title of the law.
Made the changes. In copyright, "The Statute of Anne" is not confusing, but it was selfish of me to skip the 8 just because I was having trouble pronouncing it that night. Vowels, vowels, vowels.
