Hi,everyone, I'm Shelly from Fort Lauderdale. A little nervous about this whole thing. I've always wanted to use my voice, I just could never quite figure out what to say. Then I came across LibriVox while looking for an audio version of a classic. I took the intro as an invitation to give recording a try, and so here I am. My life can be quite hectic but I think this might help to bring some calm. Not looking forward to my initial attempts, but past them to when I might produce something actually useful. I love reading good writing, travelling, and eating!
Hi Shelly, nice to meet you, welcome to LV!
Yes, reading books makes finding the right words very easy - it's actually quite liberating!
You should have received a welcome mail with all the good things you need to know to get started. Best start with the 1-Minute-Test to get your equipment up to scratch!
And then, the end of the bookshelf is the limit!
Have fun on here!
