Alright, sorry it took a second to make, but my revised version of Paul Jenning's memoir:

https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/snf067_acoloredmansreminiscencesofjamesmadison_jennings_nv_128kb.mp3

I was astonished to find I messed up Edward M. Thomas' name. For some reason after recording I really convinced myself it was Edwin from the beginning.

I still hear Edwin.

(middle of page 158 through first paragraph on page 161)

Our county forest preserve district has been trying to re-establish milkweed as a roadside flower once again, It has not been so common in recent years as it was in 1917.

I used to see milkweed and cat tails all over where we used to live.

Good story

Here is the

Obituary of Srinivasa Ramanujan
by G. H. Hardy (in catalog)
Nature, vol. 105 from 17. June 1920
https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.534294/page/n576

https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/snf067_obituaryramanujan_hardy_ava_128kb.mp3

There's a follow-up here about Ramanujan's early life, I'm not sure if I should include it in this collection or in a next one? It would be best if the Obit is followed by the Note because the note was written in response to Hardy.

Hi Availle, Thanks for your contribution to 067! :) I think it would be a good idea to have both readings about this mathematical genius together in one volume. There's plenty of open spots in 067 right now, or I can save you a slot if you would like. If you do read both the obituary and the account of Ramanujan's early life, we could title them so they follow each other in the catalog listing (listings in the nonfiction collection go by alphabetical order). Maybe: "Srinivasa Ramanujan, An Obituary," and "Srinivasa Ramanujan, His Early Life." Let me know if you think that is something you would like to do.

Sue, that's an incredibly ingenious way of entiteling those two sections. I'll go for it (give me a bit of time please).
Cheers, Ava.

My latest edit of the Paul Jennings recording. I tried again to pronounce "EDWARD M. Thomas".
