Scene 1.1. is ready for PL.

Recording time: 5:00 min.

Tomas: Acts 1 and 3 have all the scenes completed now. If you wouldn't mind, could you paste them all together in one finished act while you PL and then I can have a final listen ? You're probably fiddling a bit with pauses and stuff still, so I can do a final PL then.

Here are Angelo's lines for his interactions with Isabella. I hope to record and send in his last two scenes tomorrow after work.

And I'll get to finalizing the acts later this week. That shouldn't take too much time since it will only involve tinkering with pauses and the like. Very glad to see the beginning of the end. Hopefully Brad will find some time to finish Lucio soon, as well!

oooooh, I loved Angelo's quite calm threats in his voice in these two scenes. Actually Isabella sounds much fiercer but still he has the underlying danger in calmness. They do have charisma together here.

Well done on the final monologue in 2.2. where Angelo is fighting a battle with his conscience. Both scenes PL ok and assembled already for another PL:

I noticed that I omitted one "Alas" at 5:00 for Isabella, if you think we need it, I can re-record it then, just let me know. So Act 2 is also ready to be finalized. :9:

indeed it was a shorty  and it's already assembled:

Angelo really has a good moment in both scenes here Tomas. I love it when the bad guys have their "conscience" monologue to show that they are not really all that bad. :9: Both parts PL ok.

Where is Brad ? Haven't seen him around in a while. :hmm:

At long last, the rest of Lucio, along with the correction to 4_3! My apologies for being so late with this, but I suddenly had a lot of hours at my job this past month. Now that we're finishing up this project I'm suddenly going to have a lot of free time for two months.

excellently corrected and PL ok. I immediately assembled the scene and here it is in all its glory:

Recording time: 10:24 min.

That means, Act 4 is also ready for finalizing. :9:

Lucio Act 5 is also PL ok. It will be hilarious when he is constantly interrupting everybody. Gonna assemble that one now, this will take a bit of time. Stay tuned.

and here we have the grand finale 8-)

Recording time: 32:16 min.

Tomas, since this is fully assembled now, I would suggest you do the final PL on Act 5. If you change anything, pauses or such, just write me down the exact time stamps and I can do a Spot PL. No need for me to re-PL this one all again.

Thanks

Just had a listen and Act 5 is PL OK! Quite intense in some ways since everyone is so bitter over the others' dishonesty. Even though the Duke solves everyone's problems I don't get a sense of "happily ever after." Maybe it's because one feels the Duke is too used to getting his own way.

There were a few lines where the end of a word was a little clipped, but it was still legible. Don't think it needs to be addressed. Other than that, a fantastic finale!

This is not a "happily ever after" type of play actually. Bad things happening to good people all over the place. And as I mentioned before we got started, I was never happy with the Duke's proposal to Isobel and it a tad maddening that the text doesn't give her a reply. This man could have solved the problem early on just be revealing his presence and clearing Claudio, but no, he had to do things the hard way. Isobella has every reason to dislike him and certainly would not want to marry him. Claudio gets to live and had Juliet and their child, but surely there is now a rift between him and his sister. Mariana still loves Angelo, so I suppose she's happy--but exactly how happy since clearly he doesn't want her. At least Lucio deserves his fate.

Well, one good ending. At least Pompey has found a great new job!
