silverquill wrote: July 9th, 2019, 3:47 pm Hi, Kevin!

Okay, on the outro, as long as we have the "public domain" in there, I think

Chad and Stefan --- would you mind changing the outros for the poems already submitted? They are otherwise PL OK.
Yes, please. I sincerely apologize for the confusion and extra work.

silverquill wrote: July 9th, 2019, 2:56 pmOur usual ending for the short poetry disclaimer is just, "End of poem. This recording is in the public domain." If you want the name of the poem repeated again, that's fine (though I think it adds to the non-poem part of the recording), however, I think we actually do need to have "This recording is in the public domain" in there as part of the disclaimer.

Tricia will correct me if I'm wrong about this.
My mistake! I prepared the intro/outro wording, and forgot about that. I'm rusty when it comes to poetry projects.

Great! Thank you so much guys!
These are all PL OK, including Lenore, a strange poem to end the book.

So glad I listened to these today and caught it early.

hello, may I please also participate in here ? I don't know much about Chinese literature, but would like to give these poems a try.

some 5 to start with, the first available:

7 The Wife's Lament
8 The Crows That Caw
9 Our Parting at Kinling Inn
11 The Feast of Life
12 Ts'ung Shan

so just to make sure, you don't want to include any of the rather extensive and interesting textual notes, correct ? Only the English translation of the poem. Would have been cool if we had native speakers to read the original as well. :9:

thank you

Sonia
I will be on vacation from Wednesday 27 March till Sunday 14 April
and unable to PL during that time. Thank you for your patience.

7, 8, 9, 11, and 12 are yours! You will find, I trust, the poems to be quite engaging.

I thought long and hard about the textual notes and finally decided that, for most, it would be the poetry that would interest them. And if we had a native speaker to read the originals I would be in heaven.
