SOLO Rivers to the sea by Sara Teasdale (1884 - 1933).

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/rivers-to-the-sea-version-2-by-sara-teasdale/
Sara Teasdale never disappoints. This lovely book of lyrical poems reminds us of the eternal verities of love, loss and life. ( AnnaLisa Bodtker)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/596
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Just fyi, this will be the 2nd version. It doesn't stop you reading it, but I've found some readers don't want to do multiple versions.

Hi Annise!
I don't mind that it is the 2nd version. I just completed a 2nd version of Flame and Shadow. I just love her poems! Some people do not like listening to collaborative works, so I would like to put a solo version out there.
Any assistance you can give on MC or PL would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Greetings!
I was thinking of breaking chapter 1 into two parts and chapter 2 into two parts since they are both long. Would that be permissible?
Thank you for your assistance.

Yes, of course you can divide chapters if they are too long. Just be sure to reflect the division in section titles and also in the intros/outros for the files.
I think you can add extra sections to the MW, but you can also let me know how many will be needed and I'll add them.

Kristine :)

Great! PL OK

I just wonder if it might be good to put what you have in the notes column as part of the title for each section. That would give a little more information to the listener when looking at the contents. Just a thought.
