Lynnet wrote: June 20th, 2019, 2:16 pm Just want to apologize for this mix-up. (It’s exactly what Betty was concerned about, or a result of it). It wouldn’t have occurred if I’d set up the project correctly

FYI, if it happens again, I can sort it out behind the scenes.
It's just that one came right after the other. But that's good news!

Thanks for that! :) But I really regret not getting the sound-effect right for when the bull started stomping around on the cabin roof... Now that would’ve been one to bellow about!

I have a friend who has retired to a sailboat and I will be sure to share your reading with him once it is cataloged.
Well, pending the release of this project, your friend might be interested in a number of books that I have recorded that also feature sailing on the in-land waterways of The Broads (from the turn of the last century):

https://librivox.org/notes-on-the-broads-and-rivers-of-norfolk-and-suffolk-by-harry-brittain/

https://librivox.org/the-handbook-to-the-rivers-and-broads-of-norfolk-suffolk-by-george-christopher-davies/

https://librivox.org/the-land-of-the-broads-by-ernest-richard-suffling/

Obviously, all of the places mentioned are still there but many of the features and landscapes described in these books can still be seen today - some pretty much unchanged from well over a century ago.

Cheers

Thank you. I'll pass them on.

Thank you - it was interesting to me as I was born in Kashmir, but only aged 6 when I came to the Uk, so don’t have many memories.

This project, which I stumbled upon today, reminds me of my Love Stories Collection I have already set up in my drafts, but have forgotten to post once I got lost in Dred! As soon as the boards clear a bit, I'll get going on that.

Meanwhile, let me look for something to add to this travel collection. Good going, Kevin. Between your solos, poetry weeklies, collaborative projects and now collections, you are a very busy boy!
