Got it! Thanks so much. I will fix that up tomorrow and repost. (I'll be sure to post to this thread when it is up.)

PL note: slightly long silence at the end; there should only be 5 seconds of silence.

Your reading is wonderful!

hello!
I've reposted Chapter 13, truncating the long silence at the end per PL note. The new file can be accessed here:

https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/friendlyfive_13_hungerford_128kb.mp3

Duration is now 9:10.
thanks,
Millie

Hi There!

May I take up sections 6 (Mary Anne's Charge) and 7 (Elfie Tells A Story)?

Hi and welcome to Librivox!
There are a few things to do before you get started.
You will need to complete a one minute test - this is to check your specs are up to Librivox standards, and if not, you'll be given hints on how to remedy that. http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test
Please post your test in the Listeners Wanted forum (see the dropdown at the bottom of the page) for the speediest response. Waiting for the OK may seem tedious, but can save time in the long run.
You will also need to be added to the catalog of readers. I will add you using your forum name, but if you prefer your real name or a pseudonym let me know. We can also link to a personal blog or website. Be sure to read the first post - all the info you need is there, but if anything doesn't make sense, just ask. The wiki (see the top of the page) has bundles of info too.

Hi Lynne,

That has been posted this evening... my website is fine. I'll go back to all the information in the first post, and wait for my test to be reviewed.

Thanks a bunch - Nicole

PL note: word change...a King for a Queen
I know this isn't word perfect, and this doesn't cause a problem with the context.
bhavya, would this be a difficult thing for you to change? If it is, I will let it pass.

02:28 “A king sent one of his ministers one day to carry jewels to a KING he delighted to honor...s/b QUEEN

02:07-9 long pause, if possible try to edit it.
