Okay, thanks so much!
I've updated the MW with all of these.

Hello, Ann.
How are you doing?

Here is my final submission:
https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/jackrabbitsquirrelbrothers_17_cory_128kb.mp3 5.07 min.

This was the hardest section of all, but I'm glad I pushed myself to finish it. I kept trying for a perfect recording of Bobby Redvest's song; I came close but am only 98% happy with the end result.

I would still like to be on standby, just in case you need me to finish any other sections of this wonderful book. Also, I am reading the other Jack Rabbit books I found in the Gutenberg files (to pick one for my solo). However, I can't tell for sure which ones have not been narrated yet. I assume you don't remove books from this list until they have been fully narrated, since JR and the Squirrel Bros. is still posted; is that correct?

Look forward to your feedback; thank you again for the opportunity to gain narrating experience!

Kindest Regards,
Janette

We'll, I just had to sneak a listen to the song 8-)
I think it comes off beautifully within the story. I do appreciate your effort to give us something unique.
And, I would say 98% is pretty good. I don't know if my satisfaction rating for my recordings gets that high. We are usually our own harshest critics. But, it is just fine! I'll let Lemond give you the official PL report.

Thanks for standing by; we may have some orphans. I'll send out some reminders.

If you just do a catalog search on the book title, you will be able to tell if a book has been recorded, but we can always do a double check. I'd be glad to ride along as your DPL, and I can help you with the Magic Window. The template generator is pretty user friendly, but if you have questions about it when you're ready to launch, just let me know.

Hi Larry!
Thank you for your kind words.

My biggest conflict with my singing is a timing issue. I am a morning person, so I like to start recording around 6:00 AM. However, my singing voice does not warm up that early; so as the day goes on, by the time my voice is ready, I've used up all my narrating energy. This calls for some imaginative conflict resolution...

Again, thanks for everything. I am honored to have you as DPL for my first solo flight! I plan to review the template later today and will also do the catalog search as you kindly suggested. Look forward to working with you.
Warm regards,
Janette

Hey Janette,

I couldn't help by listen to the chapter in which you sang, and I thought you did a truly wonderful job. This book, along with David Cory's other works are often so fun to read, and I feel you gave it a touch of more life by singing. I look forward to listening to all the rest of your chapters.

And thanks to the LibriVox team for allowing us volunteers to provide some creativity. This is a wonderful community, and such a great place to grow.

I noticed in another project I did for LibriVox, I had my settings set to 192kb instead of 128kb. These files have that correction, I'm sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused.
