Of course!TriciaG wrote: ↑June 17th, 2019, 1:21 pmYou certainly can wait to do a monster section like this until you've recorded some more. This project isn't going away any time soon; it'll probably be available for at least 6 months. Regarding your questions:maxgal wrote: ↑June 17th, 2019, 10:47 amO boy, am I glad I hadn't started this one already...
...simply because I have had to climb a nearly vertical learning curve for recording and editing.
But now that my first recording has been approved and I'm an expert in doing this tech-y stuff, I am getting Mr. Culpeper ready, and have a couple Qs for you:
: Does it matter which sections of the work I read?
: And if I read sections that are not quite consecutive, do I need to indicate that in the recording?
Thank you...LJB
- Doesn't matter which sections you read. We can simply call it "selections from..."
- I suppose it would be good to indicate which ones you've read here in the post when you submit it, just for my info. That info won't go in the catalog, and you don't need to record that information, especially since you'll be reading the section headings anyway.
Wouldn't want you to get lost in the Culpeper bog.

Hi!
Just noticed that I made a typo in entering the title for my piece -- "Bureaur" should be "Bureau" -- it sneaked (snuck?) into the official listing in the MW as well. Sorry about that!

Found it. I may have caught it at some point, but it's good to have it pointed out anyway.
I'm PL'ing it now, and am somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of the way through it.

I think this one is my nomination for the snooziest recording so far. While there are others just as monotonous, and while you read yours with some energy in your voice, the sheer length of the monotony did me in. Either that, or I'm just extra tired today, contributing to the feeling.
Did I hear something about "diseases of electricity"??
PL OK!

Well, when I've got over 2 hours' worth of files to PL, it turns out to be first-come, first-served.
2 files done, 2 to go. This file's the last in line. I should be able to get to it tonight or tomorrow.

Culpeper's Complete Herbal PL OK! Nicely, calmly read.

Whew!
I'm so glad it's OK!
I really didn't want to go back to this thing.
Too icky, even in the relatively un-icky entries that I chose.
As for wind... yup, all over the body.
Thanks very much for everything you do!
