Only listened to this one, but all is good so you can record! I did notice that your voice was a tad muffled though. Did you use noise reduction? IF not maybe check to see if your mic has a noise reduction filter turned on.techie9 wrote: ↑June 15th, 2019, 3:54 amHere is the link to improved recording which passed all the tests on checker software.

Hello,
Thank you for the feedback. I had used noise reduction in audacity software. I use C-1U Behringer condenser USB Mic which has a built in noise reduction feature I believe. Is there anything else I need to check in for? Can I go ahead with reading?
Regards

You can go ahead with reading, as there is nothing drastically wrong and your settings are correct. However, if I were you, I would turn off the noise reduction filter on your mic. That is most likely what is causing that muffled sound. Then, you will just have to run Audacity's noise reduction program to eliminate the noise.techie9 wrote: ↑June 17th, 2019, 1:34 amHello,

This is another attempt with the recording. There are no noise reduction filters in the microphone as I checked. I only used the noise reduction on audacity for this recording.

Well whatever you did differently, I would keep it. Your voice was clear and round this time, and it sounded amazing. You can start recording now!techie9 wrote: ↑June 17th, 2019, 12:07 pmThis is another attempt with the recording. There are no noise reduction filters in the microphone as I checked.
