To Elsie: I have decided to lengthen the first half of Book 2 so that the second half will not be unacceptably long. All the files will be over an hour long, but 70 minutes is not acceptable. I have compressed the resultant file so that it is only 67 minutes long. It can be found at https://librivox.org/uploads/availle/historyofbritain_2a_milton_128kb.mp3.

Thanks, Elsie! I'm working on Book 3. Milton blisteringly criticizes the republic in which he served as Secretary of the Foreign Tongues. What a rant!

 Milton seems to have strong opinions about a lot of topics in British history

The first of three parts of Book 3 has been uploaded. The third book is longer than the first two, and it cannot be divided in half without exceeding the limit of 60 minutes by a good deal. I have therefore divided it into three sections of about 40 minutes apiece.
