Thanks! Since my plan is to specialize in narration in my future voice over business, pushing myself constantly is a positive effort.

Aha! Specs are perfect. Thanks so much.
I've marked 12 PL OK, but will let our DPL do 13 so you get another perspective, but I think your reading is excellent!
All ahead, clear!

Many thanks!
I will upload section 14 tomorrow. Waiting for my sound man to finish with sections 15,16, 18,19,20,21, and 22. May I ask if by any chance you've heard back from Ann about my proposal to sing the two songs in Section 17, ("Busy Times") with piano accompaniment for song #1?
Both songs are definitely PD according to my research, but I will provide an original arrangement for both songs anyway, just in case...
Look forward to your and Ann's response, and to my next (solo) project.
Kindest regards,
Janette

More files by next post. I first uploaded 14,15,16,18 together but forgot to copy the files to the forum. Hence this do-over. My apologies for the confusion.

Section 17 on hold until I hear back from you about adding PD melodies with original arrangement. Section 15 sent by separate post.
Thank You for your patience!

We're fine for the songs!
If you can provide a link to a PD source, that would be best, but if not we should be OK.

Thank you for allowing me to add melody (plus piano for song #1) for Section 17, "Busy Times". Below is the link to the PD research on both songs.

Yes, both songs are PD, but I need a link to the sheet music that was published in 1923 or earlier. You can't use any sheet music that is in a modern book, even though these are both PD. Here is a link to What Child is This? which was recorded for the Christmas Carol collection for 2009. This is what I need as proof for the age of the music.

Hello, Ann.
Thanks for the feedback and providing a sample of what you require. I will get you the proof on Die Lorelei asap. BTW, I don't use sheet music. I play by ear and all my arrangements are original. That said, it's just basic piano. Staying true to the book, it would not be believable for Grandfather Rabbit to sing like Pavarotti and play like Rubinstein LOL
I truly appreciate this opportunity to stretch myself!

Janette

Greetings -

Catching up with JeanetteKragen's ever-improving offerings:

Chapters 13, 14, and 16 are now listed as PL OK

Chapter 15 seems to give me an error message every time I try to download it. :(

Chapter 18 has some sound effects added in the very last paragraph, i.e. some hoots for the owl. I leave things like this to other people to decide if it fits into the LV guidelines.

Keep up the good work.

Thank you, Lomond!

Not a sound effect, it's my pet owl. Kidding!!! It's actually my voice.
