I have recorded my section but have one place I want to deviate from the text. The line is:

also speaks of "fitches" (vetches), wheat, barley and "rie" (rye)

Because "rie" and "rye" are pronounced the same - as far as I know - this doesn't make sense in an audio recording. Yeah, I can try to make the second more of an aside but still think it will mostly sound like a stutter/repeated word rather than a meaningful explanation. What do you say to me just saying "wheat, barley, and rye"?

Yes, I agree. Those were added in print for clarification, and can be read as you suggest! Good call

I would like to apologize

I signed up to read these chapters
The week before Finals Week

I could not record
While cramming for finals

I will not make that mistake again

Here is
Section 12 - Balm

I am currently editing basil and borage
And will be uploading them in order before I leave for work today

I will be recording the Cs over the next couple of days

I really appreciate your patience

Also
Please listen to my stuff carefully
And tell me if I mispronounced any words
I can re-record anything
Especially without having to study anatomy and physiology

What? You let finals interfere with LibriVox???
Nothing to worry about, we're glad to have you reading for us, and we all understand that there are other priorities.

I've put these int he Magic Window Ready for PL, but could you kindly give us the file lengths on the next ones when you post the links?
Thanks!

Hey Mel Atto,

I've enjoyed your narration. You have a pleasant and clear voice. :D As for pronunciation, they sounded correct to me. Personally, I use the following to check the pronunciation (since English is my second language) Howjsay, Google Translate, and Dictation (I use it to test my pronunciation  ).

Here are my PL Notes. Bold is obligatory. Italic is optional.

Section 12:
1. Please add some silence at the beginning of the recording. - obligatory
No more than 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning of the recording!
2. @00m:27.1s Missed "Linn." in (Melissa officinalis, Linn.) - optional

3. @2:22.5 - obligatory
Miss this paragraph:
Cultivation.—Balm is readily propagated by means of divisions, layers, cuttings, and by its seeds, which germinate fairly well even when four years old. Owing to its small size, the seed should be planted in a seedpan or flat in a greenhouse or hotbed, where all conditions can be controlled. The soil should be made very fine and friable, the thinly scattered seeds merely pressed upon the surface with a block or a brick, and water applied preferably through the bottom of the seedpan, which may be set in a shallow dish of water until the surface of the soil begins to appear moist.
4. Please add 5 seconds of silence at the end of the recording. - obligatory

Section 13:
1. Please add some silence at the beginning of the recording. - obligatory
2. @00m:27.1s Missed "Linn." in (Ocymum basilicum, Linn.) - optional

3. @2:07.0 Missed "Linn." in (O. minimum, Linn.) - optional

4. @4:24.0 Missed "Linn." in (O. gratissimum, Linn.) - optional

5. Please add 5 seconds of silence at the end of the recording. - obligatory

Thanks! And have a great day.
Thanks, SaraHale. :D
