I have to be out of touch for a few days. I'll get back to this when I return.

Thanks, Todd

I'd like to offer a short story, romance...

(this is the script link)
An Unexpected Result by Edward P. Roe

PD Text (it's in this short story collection)
Published: 1888, i believe
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Payson_Roe

8 roles:

Narrator - LikeManyWaters
Jack Ackland (M) - Must revenge his friend…
Will Munson (M) - His heart is broken…
Eva Van Tyne - Beautiful flirt… she gets a taste of her own medicine
Mrs. Alston - Ackland’s Cousin…
Eva's Aunt - one paragraph
"half a dozen voices" - three lines
"friend" - two lines

And of course I'll narrate, parts PL, edit, etc...

Hello!

Found the right place I hope!

Can I be Dr. Watson? (pretty please?)

Well, one role on my LibriVox bucket list I've always wanted to play is a detective, and M. Dupin would be a fun challenge. May I take him on? :)

I’ll update the MW later today with those two new plays!

Thanks for the claim on Dr Watson! You can start recording whenever you are ready! Sherlock Holmes is already recorded!

No offence, Mate - but I'm not entirely happy with being referred to as 'gender nuetral'.

Can't I just be a bloke?

(btw: recorded the dang thang - but I'm having a hard time posting it!)

I'm going to shut my pc down, and see if it feels better in the morning..

It’s the casting that is gender neutral, not the character. It’s just a shorthand way of indicating that I am open to claims for the character by either Fe/male readers.

As opposed to some of the characters further down which have (M) after them, meaning that the BC is looking for a male voice for those characters - feel free to claim a character in each production if you like!
