That was very informative for a book written in 1906. Perhaps you should include the date in the recordign or title.

I found only one reading error.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I will correct the errors and read the audio editing section. I really enjoyed the process and am excited to do more. When I correct the reading mistake, should I post a new MP3 the same way that I did the initial one? Or is there a different process for reposting?

Yes, the new corrected recording should have the exact same name as the old recording, your computer will say "there is a file with that name, do you want to replace it" and you should choose yes. Then you won't have two files on your computer.

Then upload it as you did last time. Let me know if the length changes.

Hi Dale, Thanks for this!

Before I enter it in the Magic Window, I need a bit of help with your source. The e-book you've listed as your source (Humorous Masterpieces from American Literature) doesn't seem correct. The only essay I see in that book by Dudley Warner is "Garden Ethics." In your read, you seem to say the title of the book is "Humorous Masterpieces for [not from] American Literature. Could you please check your source and get back to us?

For some reason, "the Plumber" isn't listed in the table of contents, it is directly beneath Garden Ethics. I don't know why, but I am not the editor. The exact location is

I worked a salaried job from 16-18 years of age - 90.00 for 60-80 hours of work. Then I worked a salaried job for the Air Force for 5 years staring at 600.00 a month. Then I finally got an hourly job and was all set.

June 2, 2019 In my capacity as Book Coordinator, I have removed the selection "Original Rough Draft of the Declaration of Independence" from the Magic Window. The following PM was sent to the reader, headandheart:

"As of 6/2/2019, there has been no response from you addressing concerns voiced by myself, the Book Coordinator, about the source from which you read this selection. Neither have you responded to the PM I sent you on May 4, 2019. Therefore, in accordance with the posted rules for proof listening and deadline for edits of the Nonfiction Collection (Rule #5), I am removing your selection until we hear back from you. Once concerns about your reading have been addressed, it will be welcome in a future volume of the Short Nonfiction Collection."
