No , many experienced soloists run 2 solos at the same time especially if one of them is a solid read, and the other more light relief. I wouldn't recommend a new soloist did it, I think with the first solo it's good to get it finished and catalogued ASAP so they know that spot in the middle when most readers think - why did I ever start this, I'll never get it finished
I haven't read Flinders reports - just the stuff we did at school. We seemed to draw maps of Australia with routes of the explorers every year

This novel was first published in serialised form. These two chapters flow together as though they should have been one; perhaps Dumas was running a little late for his deadline!
