Hey guys! Here's my one minute test, I'd like some feedback!

Sounded clear to me. Was that raw output or did you do noise reduction?

My only thought is that you should include some more dead space at the beginning and end (~3 seconds) so we can hear what your background noise levels are like.

Great voice, btw. Nice cadence.

Here with a more technical response. I agree with the nice voice and cadence. As for silence, I agree we need more. For actual recordings we ask for 0.5 to 1 second at the beginning and 5 seconds at the end. From looking at your waveforms and listening I did not hear any noise though. There are a few things to fix however.

Your bitrate is 123 kbps variable, we need 128 constant. To fix:
1.Go to export it (menu items file>export)
2. Select Export as MP3
3. Look under the Format Options section
4.Where it says 'Bit Rate Mode', select 'Constant'
5. In the 'Quality' drop down menu select 128 kbps.

When you do this, please re upload, post in this thread, and I'll take another look.

In the first test I had amplified the audio and used the noise reduction plugin, which means I actually did record silence, but I deleted it after using it for a noise profile (sorry!)
This time it's the raw audio, no noise reduction, no amplifying, nothing.
I also adjusted the exporting bit-rate as recommended.

Bit rate is fine now. Volume is low around 81 dbs, we need 86-92 with 89 being preferred. I recommend the Checker program if you don't have it yet. But, from the first test you have shown you know how to use the amplify and noise reduction tools well. So I will give you the OK to record, unless you want to try to amplify this to 89 and use noise reduction.

Thanks!
I decided to make a third recording, with the fixed bitrate and silence, along with the noise reduction and amplification, let me know if anything else needs adjusting!

Well nice work, because all settings are perfect! If I were to be picky, your beginning silence is 0.5 seconds over the 1 second limit and your end silence is around 6 instead of 5, but all the settings are great and there is no need to edit or re upload for this one. See you around!
