Thank you for the section however it's not an mp3 file. Please try to export, upload and post again. Thank you.
It turns out the problem was that you posted the link twice. I was able to separate it and then download.

The volume is at our max of 92dB. It's fine but, make sure you don't go louder.

Well done! Thank you. PL OK.

Hello!

If nobody has yet requested the Flight of the Dolls, I'd love to read it. Thanks!

Hi, I would like to claim section 23, "The King of the Golden River part 1 by John Ruskin", if it is still available.

I'm a new volunteer and this is my first recording, but I have already had my 1 minute test approved a while ago. I hope I'm doing the process for signing up and claiming a section properly.

Thank you,
Steven

Hi Steven!
Welcome to LV. I'll just need to know what name you want listed in the catalog.

I'll set aside section 23 until I hear back from you on the name. That is a rather long section. ~30 minutes final edited time. If you decide you would prefer a shorter section to get started with just let me know. The word counts are a great indicator. Editing usually takes me about 3-4 time the length of the recording. A 30 minute recording could take me 1/5-2 hours to edit. Just something to consider as you get started. It's a fun hobby but it is time consuming. :D

I'll go with my first name "Steven" for the catalog name. Thanks for letting me know the length of the section. I think I'll be alright and I'll stick with section 23. I have some more spare time recently and I really like the story in Section 23 :D

Here is your catalog page: https://librivox.org/reader/13334
If you get to the point when you have a number of projects you have volunteered for at the same time the "Reader section details" link is a wonderful resource.

Let me know if you have any questions along the way. Happy recording!

Ha! I forgot this was standard PL. Much easier to find the time.

Thank you for the story. Section 1 is PL OK!
