If Ethel Quenton in section 66 is still open, I'd love to read that.

I've haven't read stage directions yet - can I give it a go with The Line of No Resistance?

I know we would read the intro/outro for the play. All the parts that aren't read by the actors. Everything in parenthesis.
If the script says:
Ethel: (rising) No. No. I wouldn't.

Would I say "Rising." Or "Ethel - Rising."

I think that's the only question I have right now, I may have more later.

Thanks

yes, rule of thumb here: if the stage directions come before the character speaks, please include the name too. If it comes in the middle or at the end of a speech, leave out the name.

Thanks for your claims, Betsy and Aaron, I'll update the MW.

Hi!

My mom did the part of the "Old Woman" for "Why the Chimes Rang":

I wasn't positive whether to put it in silverquill's upload folder or toddhw's... hope I got it right.

I'll PM silverquill as well; thanks!

yes the MC for this project is Todd. silverquill actually doesn't have a folder, as he is not an MC ;)

Just to make sure...your mom is Jane Manning then, right ? Because she claimed the part.

I'll put it in the MW to be PLed. Thanks

Yes, her username is 'janemanning'. I do all the internet stuff and she (and my dad) read.

Sorry for any confusion; cheers!

excellent double-act, Tomas. I love the scene where Sganarelle is talking to himself as his brother. Nicely conveyed to give them two different characters. This must have been hard for the actor of the time to be switching clothes so fast and jumping through the windows

All of Sganarelle totally PL ok. Thanks !
