That painting would make a good basis for the CD cover for this project.
At first I wanted something with both Liberators in it, but as I only found this idealised representation of their only meeting so in the end "Vuelvan caras" may be the better option. More dynamic and evocative 8-)

They're both OK, but I just now noticed that the volume on some of the more recent files is quite low.

Section 41: 85.8
Section 42: 86.0
Section 43: 84.3
Section 44: 84.6
Section 45: 85.2
Section 47: 85.3

(46 is at 86.7, so it's OK.)

Sorry I hadn't checked them or noticed the volume before! I'll mark them as See PL Notes in the MW, but if you just want the cataloging process to adjust them (which might not work on all players, but should work on most), you can change them all back to PL OK.

What do you mean? If they are amplified they are amplified, no?

I'm not 100% sure how it works. (It's the same way MP3Gain works, though.)

The validator modifies some data in the MP3 to compensate for the volume. That data tells the player to increase the volume X amount. It doesn't modify the wave forms themselves. Some older players may not be able to read that data, so the files would be at the original volume on those players.

Personally, to cover all bases, I like to have my original files close in volume to each other (and about 90 dB). That way no matter what player is used, the volume is consistent. But you could just choose to have the validator add the data, which for most listeners would sound the same as if you had the volumes all the same from the start.

Make sense?

Both PL OK.

Sad to see San Martin leave, but his reasons were noble and correct.

That feeling when you realize that you not only pronounced the same name of an important person in two distinctly different way throught the book, but also that neither of the versions is correct

I have the next chapter recorded but decided instead to go for the one after that. It's in the MW now.
