Hi again Foon, I decided to PL your other parts ahead of time in case there were edits that needed to be made. I think I caught all of them (there were 4 I think).
25, 29, and 64 are all OK. I have just one slight question for 56. In the scripts, there is the title, and then right below it, the character list. In the previous intros you had read the character list I believe, but I did not hear it here (my hears may not be working though ). It may not be important at all, I was just mentioning it in case you wanted to insert it

Thank you Rapunzelina!Rapunzelina wrote: ↑April 18th, 2019, 4:05 am Dialogues 5 and 6 are PL OK. The pauses between the characters are comfortably long! Definitely not too short!
Thanks Campbell, it's in the MW for PL!lymiewithpurpose wrote: ↑April 18th, 2019, 6:14 am Anyways, here's dialogue 16 then:

I might well have! I was originally thinking that the character list could be replaced by the voice credits (but I'm fine whichever way you've done it), but I did still want to read them in case someone doesn't submit a voice credit or whatever. I'll add that in when I have some quiet time. Thanks for the PL!lymiewithpurpose wrote: ↑April 18th, 2019, 6:35 am I have just one slight question for 56. Your roles in dialogues 14, 17, 20, 22, and 26 are already PL OK
For Apollo in 15:
0:47 I hear "affaires de noeur" instead of "affaires de coeur"
For Zeus in 1:
There is a bit of clipping throughout the recording during the bombastic speeches. Do you still have the lossless file? If so, could you try for example compressing it before exporting as mp3, to see if that improves the sound quality? If you don't have it, it's fine as it is (no need to record anything anew!), but I thought I'd check.

I will take a look at Zeus when I get home. Fir the French phrase, I looked up the pronunciation online and two different sites said it was pronounced with ths n sound. I don't mind rerecording it with a c, but, I THINK, it should have the n sound. Let me know.
That's odd, I had a quick google and also came across some pronunciations that use that n-sound. But also plenty that use a k-sound, for example https://www.dictionary.com/browse/affaire-de-coeur .aaronwhite1977 wrote: ↑April 19th, 2019, 5:49 am I will take a look at Zeus when I get home. I'll post in the Need Help forum for a native French speaker to help us out, hold tight!

Aaron, it's definitely "coeur" with a 'k' sound. I have never ever heard it with an 'n' sound and it doesn't make sense. 'coeur' means 'heart' in French, it's an "affair of the heart". 'noeur' is not a French word I'm aware of.
Maybe, just maybe those who say it with an 'n' sound mean really "affaire d'honneur", which would be a different thing, a "matter of honour". The sites where you listened could have linked it wrongly, because it sounds similarly.

Hi Sonia,
Thanks for jumping in! In my question in the LOTE Help forum I suggested it might be a mess-up with "affaire d'honneur" (i.e. that the sound clip just ended up on the wrong page), I guess that might be the cause of the confusion. So not "de noeur" as I wrote it, but "d'honneur".

oh, hey ! I only just now saw your help-thread and I see you came to the same conclusion than me. Yes, I listened to your Merriam-Webster link and that definitely means "affaire d'honneur". It's wrongly linked. Maybe they should get notifiedFoon wrote: ↑April 19th, 2019, 8:09 am Thanks for jumping in! Thanks for your help guys. I'm definitely French-ignorant, but it didn't sound right to me. That's why I checked two of them. But I would definitely go with the dictionary one - and of course the expert knowledge of Sonia. I studied enough Spanish to do a bit of travel, but we need more language fluency in the States. My grandmother grew up in Holland and she knew 4 or 5 languages pretty fluently.Kitty wrote: ↑April 19th, 2019, 8:12 amoh, hey ! But, thanks for your help, I will get on your two notes in the next few hours!

I have corrected both. The pronunciation at 47 seconds on the Apollo 15 clip.
And the clipping in the Zeus clip. (I think I just ran the Zeus clip - checked the audio level on the checker, and then said - Oh, yeah that's right in the right volume, and then forgot to compress it - thanks for pointing that out.)
